His Lordship is advised that the circumstances under which you purchased the Cannon do not give you any claim to be compensated by H.M. Government for ammunition. You may dispose of them as you think fit.
There is nothing to prevent you from exporting the guns to Hong Kong or Singapore, nor from re-exporting them from thence under a license from the Colonial Authorities if they are satisfied by you that the guns are not destined for the Chinese Insurgents.
